We're really excited to be taking part in The Kansai Music Conference, which is a weekend of workshops and live music showcases all day at the Osaka Museum of History, and evening music showcases at venues around Osaka. We'll be playing alongside Stuart O'Connor, Tea Party, and Subsonic Worms.

We'll be playing in afternoons under the sun on the outdoor stage in the beer garden of this bar in the university area of town. The beer garden stays full all afternoon, so try to get there early to nab a table.

What a great chance for us! This is one of the venues for Goosfest, a wicked little festival held in Bry's hometown of Goostrey on October 8 - 17th. As we can't make it in October, we have been given the opportunity to play a show here while we're visiting Bry's folks.

Well, we won't be here, but we confidently hand over our monthly open mic event to Heinz and our good friend Dan Buschmann, with help from a few excellent people we know (DJ Toru, Esky, Yuuki, Masaaki, Chiemi...) Artist sign up will start at 6:50pm, and this will be more of an acoustic night, although you can plug into the great sound system at Plastic Factory.

This is our monthly open mic and art event, where we never know who's going to walk in the doors and blow us away on the stage. This month, we welcome our good friend Edwin Putnam into the art gallery on the 2nd floor, where he will be showing his photography.
As always, DJ Toru will be there to spin between acts, and Semi-On will be there to set you up and give you volume. Open mic sign up starts at 6:50, and Semi-On will play around 9:00.
